Announcing the 2026 Rewst Automation & AI Awards winners
Written by Dylan Dow
Date: 02 July 2026
At FLOW 2026 in Nashville, we handed out the second annual Rewst Automation & AI Awards. The MSPs who won are running leaner, moving faster, and taking on work that would have required twice the headcount a few years ago. Some are recovering tens of thousands in monthly recurring revenue they didn't know they were leaving on the table. Others are onboarding acquisitions in 30 days with zero downtime, or supporting 3,000 end users with a team of 15. And the hours their teams are getting back aren't going to waste; they're going toward the kind of proactive, high-value work that keeps clients around.
The Rewst Automation & AI Awards exist to recognize the people and organizations leading that shift: the builders who go deep when they could stop at good enough, the MSPs turning automation into a genuine competitive advantage, and the community members who make everyone around them better.
Here's who won.
Business Impact Excellence
IT Solutions
IT Solutions is a PE-backed MSP actively working through acquisitions, which means they're constantly bringing together organizations running different PSAs, RMMs, billing tools, and processes. Their solution was a billing reconciliation automation that aggregates and normalizes data across all of it, flagging under-billed users, devices, and licenses across their entire footprint. The result: over $50K in recovered MRR, 425+ hours saved per month, and each new acquisition onboards faster than the last.
Customer Experience Excellence
Fusion4IT
Fusion4IT tackled something many MSPs overlook: the manual micro-processes that seem minor individually but add up to real overhead. They automated contact sync across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace into their helpdesk, and built workflows that let clients manage their own escalation contacts through forms. Cleaner data, faster incident response, and 12 working days a year recovered from administrative work.
Automation & AI Excellence
Air IT Group
Air IT had a strong automation library, but 145 frontline engineers struggled to find it. AI-generated insights were being dismissed because they cluttered tickets. Tool sprawl was adding friction to every interaction.
Their answer was a custom ConnectWise PSA pod that puts automations, documentation, and on-demand AI insights directly inside the ticket view, with AI that only runs when an engineer requests it. Password and MFA resets that used to take up to 10 minutes now take 10 seconds. Service desk automation usage is up 43%. The calculated annual value: £280,000.
Automation Builder of the Year
RJ Madsen, Net Friends
RJ Madsen, Integration Engineer at Net Friends, builds from scratch, applies custom business logic, and handles edge cases that off-the-shelf solutions miss. His work at Net Friends includes a Google multi-tenant management system that fills a gap no native MSP tooling addresses, asset syncs across two RMMs, invoice post-processing that eliminated 120 manual touches per month, and a HubSpot-to-Halo sync that keeps billing data clean across the business.
In April, the team tracked 767 hours saved, and their support team handles roughly 200 users per technician, about double the industry average. RJ also mentors colleagues on the platform and has presented at the Rewst Community Open Mic sessions. This award recognizes technical depth, business impact, and the discipline to build things right.
Rewst Community Champion
Daniel Dunkijacobsnolten, Intelligent Technical Solutions
Daniel Dunkijacobsnolten, Developer at Intelligent Technical Solutions, shows up wherever the Community does and makes it better. He has presented multiple times at Open Mic, covering topics from Rewst RoboRewsty workflow refactoring to a Microsoft 365 Rewind built in the style of Spotify Wrapped.
He beta tested the new workflow canvas, shares workflows on Discord and GitHub, and regularly takes calls with MSPs evaluating automation. The Community gets better when people like Daniel are in it.
Customer of the Year, North America, Growth
Bezalu
Fifteen people. Over 3,000 end users. That ratio is possible because automation is deeply embedded across the business at Bezalu. Data relay, full integration pipelines, alert handling: if a manual process exists, it's a target. That mindset lets a small team operate at a scale most MSPs associate with a much larger headcount.
Customer of the Year, North America, Enterprise
Convergence Networks
Convergence Networks makes one to two acquisitions a year. Rather than treating each migration as a one-off, they built a repeatable framework: six phases from scoping to cutover, a central org key that keeps every tool aligned, and AI-assisted field mapping with human approval at every critical step. A documentation platform migration covering 1,800+ companies completed in 30 days with zero downtime. A full MSP integration across five tools in 60 days with zero client impact. They're now saving thousands of hours per month through automation across the business.
Customer of the Year, APAC
IT Partners
IT Partners made the trip from New Zealand for the first FLOW in 2024. They made it again this year. At a time when most MSPs were still treating automation as a service in theory, IT Partners was already delivering it. They continue to set the standard for automation excellence in the APAC region.
Customer of the Year, EMEA
Focus Group
Focus Group launched their Rewst program in January 2025 with a formal business case, executive sponsorship, and a dedicated team. In under a year, they've delivered across four areas: service desk efficiency, back-office automation, customer self-service, and customer outcome delivery. What sets them apart is the discipline behind it: board-level reporting, ROI tracking, and a data-driven prioritization framework.
Congratulations to all the winners
