Re(introducing) RoboRewsty: Your new automation assistant in Rewst
September 30, 2025

At Rewst, we’ve always had a pretty clear mission: help MSPs scale by lowering the barrier to automation. Our first applications of AI gave MSPs ways to embed intelligent actions into their workflows to handle repetitive tasks like ticket triage, categorization, and prioritization. Prebuilt automations like our OpenAI Ticket Categorization Crate made this accessible, helping teams save time on routine work and focus on higher-value tasks. These early steps made AI a practical tool inside Rewst automations.

Now, we’re moving beyond AI actions within individual workflows to embedding AI directly into the Rewst platform to give MSPs tailored support as they automate their processes. Our goals with bringing AI into the platform are to extend the value Rewst already provides, helping MSPs build capacity and automation expertise across their teams, troubleshoot more effectively, and lower the barrier to automation even further.

Re(introducing) RoboRewsty

Our first step to offering this support is through our enhancement of RoboRewsty, our in-platform assistant. First introduced in 2024 to help MSPs document workflows, it has now evolved into an AI automation assistant. Whether you’re building, troubleshooting, managing, or documenting workflows, RoboRewsty is like having an automation expert at your fingertips, providing guidance tailored to your setup and integrations, surfacing best practices, and making it easier to navigate the platform with confidence.

RoboRewsty is available now! If you’re a Rewst partner, click the RoboRewsty icon on the navigation bar inside Rewst, and ask your first question today.

What can RoboRewsty help with today?

Quick answers on automation best practices

Ask about platform setup, specific features, integrations, and prebuilt automations, and get instant support informed by Rewst’s knowledge base and your specific setup.

Help diagnose and troubleshoot with less guesswork

Paste an error or ask why a run failed, and RoboRewsty will break it down, point to the issue, and suggest what to do next.

Tailored guidance while setting up integrations & automations

Whether setting up one of our prebuilt automations, customizing them to fit client needs, or configuring integrations, RoboRewsty provides best practices in context.

On-demand answers about your automations

Ask about workflows, variables, and integrations, and get answers specific to your environment.

Document workflows in one click

Turn complex workflows into clean, shareable documentation that teams can actually use for knowledge sharing.

How we’re thinking about AI at Rewst

At Rewst, we didn’t want to just add AI for the sake of saying we had it. From the beginning, we asked a different question: how can AI actually help MSPs do their work faster, reduce manual effort, and make automation more accessible?

Our answer was to start with an assistant designed to work with the right tools and context. RoboRewsty can understand our users’ workflows and environment, along with best practices for setup and automation sourced from our official knowledge base and documentation. That means instead of vague suggestions, they get relevant automation guidance and resources.

The result is an assistant that can help MSPs do automation more effectively while building the capacity of their team.

What’s next?

This is just the beginning of RoboRewsty’s capabilities and how we’re bringing more AI intelligence into Rewst. We’ll be continuing to expand what MSPs can do with AI in Rewst and with RoboRewsty later this year to support MSPs across even more of their automation journey.

Natural language workflow building

Soon, Rewst partners will be able to describe what processes they want to automate in plain English and have RoboRewsty generate an end-to-end workflow draft on their workflow canvas.

Jinja co-pilot support

In our low-code platform, Jinja is used to add custom logic and allows MSPs to fine-tune automations to match the exact way they deliver services. Right now, RoboRewsty can help troubleshoot and explain Jinja, but coming soon, it will go further by generating complete Jinja snippets from plain-English prompts.

Whether new to Rewst or an experienced builder, users will be able to describe the customization they need, and RoboRewsty will provide functional Jinja that can be dropped directly into a workflow.

The Rewst MCP server

We’re also introducing a new MCP server and trigger type that allows MSPs to safely connect external AI agents to Rewst. With this setup, they can choose a preferred AI model and give it controlled access to specific automations through a new workflow trigger type. This keeps control in their hands while extending the power of their automation engine.

With AI becoming a bigger part of the MSP conversation, our focus at Rewst is on putting it to work where it matters most: reducing manual effort, scaling team capacity, and making automation more accessible. RoboRewsty is the first step in that journey, and we’re excited to continue building tools that help MSPs get real value from AI.
